The Council has been webcasting live coverage of most of its major meetings on this website since April 2017.
Recent meetings and those coming soon are displayed on this page. Simply click on the title of the meeting that you wish to view. You can also subscribe to notification reminders for future meetings.
If you miss a meeting live, or would like to watch it again, there is a catch up facility in the Webcast Library. Recordings are normally available to view online within an hour of the end of the live meeting and are stored for a period of 6 months.
The Council deals with as much business as possible in public session but occasionally it is necessary to discuss confidential information in private. When this happens live broadcasts will be temporarily suspended.
You will find links on each webcast to the agenda and reports for the meeting that you are watching which will give you useful information about the issues that are being discussed.
When you watch recorded meetings in the archive you are able to jump to a specific point or speaker in the meeting using the timeline on the right hand side of the screen.
You can submit comments and feedback about the webcasts themselves - for example if you experienced any technical issues watching them - using the feedback form provided on each webcast page.
